Scope of this notice
This notice covers personal information submitted directly through XLCreator’s join and contact forms. It also explains the present position on analytics and external links. It does not govern third-party websites reached through XLCreator.
Information you choose to provide
Join form
Name, email address, creator stage, optional description of what would be valuable, consent and submission time.
Contact form
Name, email address, selected enquiry topic, message, consent and submission time.
Please do not submit passwords, payment-card information, identity documents, health information or other highly sensitive personal data.
Why information is used
Join-form information helps XLCreator understand reader needs, improve resources and send relevant updates to people who have agreed. Contact-form information is used to review, manage and respond to an enquiry, investigate a reported issue and maintain appropriate correspondence.
Consent and your choices
Each form requires an affirmative consent choice. You can choose not to submit a form. You may ask for submitted information to be corrected or removed using the contact form. A request may require enough information to identify the relevant submission.
Storage, access and security
Submissions are stored in the website’s protected database. Access should be limited to people who need the information to operate XLCreator or respond to enquiries. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Retention
Information should be kept only while reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, record-keeping responsibilities, resolving an enquiry or handling a legal issue. When no longer needed, it should be securely removed or anonymised.
Sharing and selling
XLCreator does not sell form-submission information. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers needed to host and operate the website, or disclosed where required by law, to protect rights or investigate misuse.
Website analytics and cookies
Privacy-conscious analytics may be introduced to understand aggregate activity such as popular pages and referral sources. This notice and any necessary consent mechanism will be updated before enabling tracking that requires visitor consent.
External websites
Guides link to third-party websites so readers can verify products and policies. Those websites have their own privacy notices. Opening a link does not make their privacy practices part of XLCreator.
Children’s information
The forms are intended for people able to provide valid consent for their own information. They should not be used to submit a child’s personal information without appropriate authority.
Changes to this notice
This page may change when the website’s forms, providers or data practices change. The date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
